Besides our annual Silent Auction and celebration of Shakespeare's birthday, YSP participates in local festivals such as "Celebrate Youth" in January and the Monroe Street Festival in September. Actors can often be found near the Farmer's Market on Saturdays from May-October! Have an event that you'd like us to participate in? Just ask!

YSP's Celebrate Shakespeare! Open House & Silent Auction takes place in April to celebrate the birthday of Shakespeare. Current actors and alumni perform Open House 2010scenes, and there's a read-in that allows visitors to partipate, too! Enjoy some birthday cake, watch (or join!) a scene from Shakespeare, and browse our auction! Our 2012 Open House takes place April 22, 1-5 pm at the playhouse. The auction begins that day, and will remain open through May 6. Bidding will be available online from April 22-May 6.

Many of our donations are provided by the local Monroe Street Merchants, as well as by other arts organizations and businesses in Madison.
